New Delhi, February 9–10
Jenny participated in the eighth edition of the Times Group Global Business Summit in New Delhi on Feb. 9 and 10. She spoke at the global CEO panel and a separate fireside chat. During the summit, Jenny met with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and attended a closed-door luncheon with Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman.
Jenny was a special invitee at the launch of CNBC TV18’s second edition of Future Female Forward, an initiative that aims to make headway on how to make gender parity a reality in India. Jenny relayed her views on women in the financial sector, gender stereotypes and leadership roles for women. She spoke about HR policies post-COVID-19 and their implications on companies. Jenny was also commended as a ‘woman achiever’ at the event.

Mumbai, February 11–13
As part of the firm’s corporate social responsibility commitment in India, Franklin Templeton partnered with the Mann Deshi Foundation for its financial literacy and entrepreneurship development training through its “Business School on Wheels” program, impacting thousands of rural women in Mhaswad, Maharashtra. Jenny then engaged with women entrepreneurs over lunch.
On February 13, Jenny hosted Franklin Templeton’s women distributors in Mumbai. The conversations ranged from the increasing number of women in finance and India’s growth story to the future of the asset management business in India and what makes the country an important market for global managers.
