Franklin Templeton earned top marks in the “Regional Leaders US, 100+ Managers” category at Citywire’s fourth Gender Diversity Awards ceremony.

Held Dec. 5 in London, the event recognized the progress made by fund management groups on the representation of women and gender diversity practices.

Citywire used data from its 2023 Alpha Female Report to look at the percentage of female managers at fund groups and the turnover rates of men and women over the past 10 years. A six-person judging panel decided the winners after analyzing responses from the shortlisted firms.

Questions ranged from looking at company-wide gender diversity practices to how businesses incorporate gender issues into their investment decisions.

Commenting on the award, Franklin Templeton’s DE&I Director – EMEA, Nancy Rowe said:

We are making progress towards achieving increased gender representation across the firm and we have now established specific goals for Franklin Templeton globally, both overall and in investment management roles specifically, as one way we measure overall progress.
