Disability:IN is the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide. Its network of over 500 corporations expands opportunities for people with disabilities across enterprises. The organization’s central office and 18 Affiliates serve as the collective voice to effect change for people with disabilities in business. The Disability Equality Index has become the leading independent, third-party resource for the annual benchmarking of corporate disability inclusion policies and programs, and is now trusted by more than 70% of the Fortune 100 and nearly half of the Fortune 500. Participation in the survey is voluntary for any company that meets the requirements. The Disability Equality Index covers Culture & Leadership, Enterprise-Wide Access, Employment Practices, Community Engagement, Supplier Diversity and Responsible Procurement (unweighted). Each company participating in the index receives a score, on a scale of zero (0) to 100, with those earning 80 and above recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.”
